FONE Haus customers now have the option of shopping online, national operations manager Amy Tomlinson says. She said this during opening of Fone Haus flagship shop in Lae last Friday. The products on sale have interactive screens that customers can access to, compare phones or learn a little bit more about the specifications of the phones and accessories. The shop also has a “Fone Geeks” section to help customers any time with any technical queries related to services, features, applications, accessories and other information about its products. Tomlinson said it was important for them to look ahead as Papua New Guinea entered the digital age. “Papua New Guinea is riding on the digital wave with the internet getting stronger and stronger and the company’s website is one place to start a search for a new phone that give all the specs to compare phones,” she said
People can shop online which is a service that we are really proud of PNG. “Fone Haus has an online service as well as a “click and collect”. “You can order and pay for your phone online and we can deliver to you. “This service is getting more popular across the country and is a great way for us to service our customers that live out of our major metropolitan areas. “Nationwide, we have 15 Fone Hauses and we also operate the three of the flagship Digicel shops, adding all up to 18.” The national operations manager said by the end of this year, there would be few more shops up and Fone Haus had plans for regional centres as well.
