Simple Code to Stop Advertising Text Messages from Digicel

Digicel has been sending promotional and advertising text messages to its customers on its network. This is sometimes frustrating and in fact it is intruding privacy to the Phone owner. 

Digicel does not indicate or provide precise information to its customers on how to stop those promotions. However, below is  simple code that  you can use to avoid promotional text messages from Digicel. 

Note: The code only works for six months .  That means Digicel  will starting sending the messages again. But you can send the same code to unsubscribe those text messages again.

Stopping Advertisement Text Messages 

1. Text  DND to code no: 16022  (DND stands for Do Not Disturb)

2.  You will get a reply from Digicel. Then text the word CANCEL again to 16022.

You are done with cancelling advertisements for the next 6 months. You will repeat the same procedure again after the 6 months cancellation period elapse to stop further text messages.
